Si DIan Jin Bridal Jewelry Sets

A ring, a necklace, a bracelet, and a pair of earrings — Si Dian Jin has long marked a bride's passage into marriage, each point of gold carried forward as blessing, protection, and inheritance. Our Si Dian Jin sets honour that lineage in fine gold and lab-grown diamonds, so tradition and brilliance are held in the same hand.

The Four Treasures, Reimagined. Each piece is handcrafted to be worn well beyond the wedding day: layered into daily life, passed down to a daughter, revisited every anniversary.

Set in 18K gold with certified diamonds, the collection honours this traditional Chinese bridal custom, but with modern, classic pieces suitable for daily wear.

Common Questions about Si Dian Jin

Si Dian Jin — literally "four points of gold" — is a Chinese wedding custom observed widely across Singapore and Malaysia, in which the groom's family presents the bride with four pieces of gold jewellery ahead of the marriage. Traditionally given during the betrothal or tea ceremony, the set is understood as both a blessing for the marriage and a form of financial security carried forward with the bride into her new household.

Traditionally, yes — Si Dian Jin is cast in high-karat yellow gold, prized for its purity and resale value. In recent years, many brides have moved toward Si Dian Zuan, a diamond reinterpretation of the same four pieces set in 14k or 18K solid gold. The shift is less a departure from tradition than an update to how the tradition is worn — the same blessing, made for daily life rather than the wedding day alone.

The set conventionally comprises a necklace, a ring, a bracelet, and a pair of earrings — four pieces, four points of gold, worn together as a complete expression of the tradition. While the four-piece structure is fixed by custom, the design of each piece is not, which is where a modern bride has room to make the tradition her own.

Most families begin the conversation three months ahead of the wedding date, allowing time for selection and, where pieces are custom-made, for design and craftsmanship.

A classic set of four in 14k gold can start from $5k and go beyond $15k for larger 18k gold items. Cost varies with gold weight, diamond selection, and design complexity, — we're happy to walk through the options during a private consultation, in person at our Orchard Road showroom or virtually.
